About Josie
Originally from the UK, Josie spent 25 years as a professional session singer (Strawberry Studios and Yellow 2) and lead singer/dancer in top-billed theatre production shows including “That’ll be the Day” and “The Abba Show”, as Frida. She played all major theatres including the London Paladium and toured worldwide averaging 275 shows a year, which demanded her to be extremely fit and healthy.
Josie became passionate about fitness from her own Personal Trainer and attending numerous classes. Because of her strong passion for wellbeing, Josie trained and qualified first as Group Fitness Instructor / Personal Trainer (PT), then discovered the continuous benefits of Yoga and Pilates and trained and qualified in these disciplines.
Josie migrated to Australia 2003 and set up a tour and production company with her partner Dan Redgrave, as well as a Personal Training business, teaching at Yoga and Pilates schools throughout Melbourne.
In 2006 they moved to Byron Bay, relocating her personal training business plus teaching Yoga, Pilates and Group Fitness classes.
Besides exercise, Josie can educate clients in other aspects of wellness, including general health and nutrition guidelines.
